HOWDY Knights of Columbus of Texas!

It is Party Time in Houston! The Houston Convention Committee is pleased to invite you to the 120th Annual State Convention to be held in Houston, April 26 – 28, 2024. Once again, the host hotel is the Hilton of the Americas, located in downtown Houston. This convention will be one to remember as we are adding more fun and exciting fellowship and spiritual time. We will be recognizing all the great accomplishments from the past year and plan for the future of our great state.

For all golfers (men and women) a World Class Golf Tournament is planned at the renowned
Cypresswood Golf Club in Spring on Friday morning. Let’s see who wins the 4th Annual “Knights of Columbus Bishop’s Cup” for your Diocese! We will also host a Clergy Seminar and Luncheon for all Council Chaplains, pastors, and deacons on Friday. Please encourage them to attend with you.

The Houston Convention Committee is hosting the Friday Night Welcome Party high atop the Cathedral Centre adjacent to the Galveston-Houston Co-Cathedral. Live music, food, and beverages will be available for $40.00 per person. Children under 10 are free. We are asking you to wear your favorite Rodeo Western wear and yes, this is a family event. The window view from the top floor of the Cathedral Centre is spectacular.

We are extremely honored to have His Eminence Daniel Cardinal DiNardo celebrate our Opening Mass on Saturday morning. The Adoration Chapel will open following this Mass and remain open until midnight Saturday. All our ladies are invited to a luncheon Saturday to enjoy food and friendship and some fun rounds of Mexican Bingo. The State Banquet will be held Saturday evening in the Hilton.

The Memorial Mass on Sunday morning will be celebrated by our State Chaplain, His Excellency Michael Sis, Bishop of San Angelo Diocese. The ladies are invited to a breakfast on Sunday morning while the men attend our meeting and conduct the election of State Officers.

Please consider placing an ad in our Convention Book. Councils, CDA courts, businesses and individuals are invited to recognize your organization, or honor a member or members. WE look forward to hosting you as we celebrate our State Deputy Terry Fruge’s theme of “Christ Be Our Light”.
